16. REPEAL
All former By-Laws, Rules and Regulations of the Ontario Provincial
Command are hereby repealed, and the foregoing Act of Incorporation,
Constitution, Rules & By-Laws, when passed by the Ontario Provincial
Command Executive, confirmed at a general meeting of the Ontario
Provincial Command and approved by Dominion Command,
SHALL from
the date of such approval be the Constitution, Rules
& By-Laws of the
Ontario Provincial Command of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in
Canada.
17. DECORATIONS
(1) The following is the criteria for the wearing of Association medals and pins:
President and Past President's pin, 2nd term Maple Leaf pin, and Long
Service pins (i.e. 25, 35, or 50 etc.)
SHALL be worn on the LEFT lapel in
the order they are received. The pin indicating the longest years of service
SHALL be the only Long Service pin worn. Life Membership medals,
Appreciation medals, and other Association medals (i.e. 150th
Commemorative medal)
SHALL be worn on the RIGHT lapel. A bar MAY
be used where applicable.
(2) There will be only one President's pin for each men's Unit President as well
as one for the Auxiliary President, and this should be handed down from one
President to the next.
"NOTE" at the time of printing of these By-Laws only the Ladies Auxiliary
wears a President's pin.
(3) The silver Maple Leaf pin is to indicate that you have served more than one
term as President. You do not receive a pin for each additional term served.
Only one Maple Leaf pin
SHALL be worn.
