(f) A President must complete a full 2 year term of office to become an
"Immediate Past President". If for some reason a President steps
down in the middle of a subsequent term of office he will become a
"Past President", and not the "Immediate Past President".
(g) If an Immediate Past President accepts a nomination for any office
within his Unit, he will no longer be the Immediate Past President,
and the office will remain vacant until a President is defeated by
election, then the defeated President would become the Immediate
Past President.
(h) Units of the Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada are

(i) If an Executive Member resigns his position before his term is
complete, he will not be eligible for nomination again for the
remainder of that term, plus the next full term.

for the conduct of its affairs without limiting in any way the generality of
this section, for:
(a) Defining the numbers and mode of election or appointment of its
Officers, its Standing and Special Committees and defining their
duties and fixing their remuneration.
(b) The calling of all meetings of the Unit and its Executive, and defining
