(6) Twenty five (25) qualified persons present SHALL constitute a quorum
except for the Ladies Auxiliary where the number SHALL be one quarter of
their membership.
(7) (a) Except on the election of officers, all voting SHALL be either by a
show of hands or a standing vote as the presiding officer MAY direct
and the presiding officer SHALL declare the result of such votes.
(b) Those entitled to attend and vote at the Convention and Meetings
SHALL be the Members of the Board, and all duly qualified
Delegates as provided under the provisions of Section (8), Subsection
(4) of the Ontario Provincial Command Constitution, Rules & By-Laws.
(8) Unless otherwise herein provided, the decision of the Convention SHALL
be by majority vote.
(9) The Presiding Officer of the Convention SHALL cast a vote upon all
matters coming before the Convention in case of the vote being a tie.
(10) All election of Officers SHALL be by ballot, or in the case of acclamation,
one ballot SHALL be cast.
(a) At no time SHALL the Executive be nominated/elected in BLOCK.
(b) In order to nominate or be nominated to a Command position, you
must be an Official Delegate of your Unit/Auxiliary, ora current
Command Officer.
(11) The Convention SHALL have the power, by resolution, to make such rules
and orders governing its own procedure as it MAY see fit, and to amend,
repeal or suspend the same from time to time, and where no such rules or
orders are passed governing any procedure, Robert's Rules of Order
SHALL be followed as a guide.
