( 15) The Seal of the Command SHALL not be affixed to any document except
by authority of a resolution of the Executive and when so authorized,
SHALL be affixed by the Secretary/Treasurer thereof and attested by his
signature and by the signature of the President or a Vice President of the
Command or by some other person specially authorized in that behalf by the
Executive. The Seal SHALL bear the designation of the Army, Navy and
Air Force Veterans in Canada with the words "Ontario Command" inserted
in the centre.
8. ONTARIO PROVINCIAL COMMAND CONVENTION &
MEETINGS
(1) The Convention SHALL be the supreme governing body and SHALL be
held biennially at such time and place as the Command in convention
SHALL decide. Failing such decision, the Executive SHALL decide.
(2) The Executive MAY change the place of the Convention if it be expedient
or impossible to hold it at the place chosen by the previous Convention.
(3) The General Meetings of the Command SHALL be held twice a year and
the Conventions SHALL be considered a meeting. A Quarterly Meeting
SHALL have the same powers as a Convention.
(4) (a) Each Unit SHALL be represented at the Command Convention by
one (1) Delegate for each one hundred (100) members, or fraction
thereof upon whom per capita tax has been paid to the Dominion
Association for the year immediately proceeding the Convention
and/or Meeting, with voice and vote.
(b) The Ladies Auxiliary will be represented by one (1) delegate for each
twenty (20) members, or fraction thereof.
(5) Not less than thirty (30) days written notice of the date and place of the
Convention SHALL be given by the Secretary of the Command to each Unit
of the Command.
